Yes it is delicious, you can add a cream cheese frosting if you want to, or just have it like this as an afternoon snack. Make sure you get the Danish Pastry Sheet, NOT the Pastry Sheet only. Its different.
This baby just saved me from 3 days to make the pastry.. just get one and you’ll be fine, really, its ok not to make all from scratch, its fine, and its delicious, that is what makes your family smile rite?? Those delicious finger licking good food..
You will need :
- 1 sheet of danish pastry sheet
- 10gr of granulated white sugar (gula putih)
- 15gr of brown sugar (bs diganti dengan palm sugar)
- 1/4tbsp ground cinnamon (kayu manis bubuk)
- 1tsp margarine
- 1 egg yolk (kuning telur)
- 30ml milk
- Unthaw the danish pastry sheet, wait for 3-5 minutes until its foldable. (Keluarkan danish pastry sheet dari freezer, diamkan selama 3-5 menit)
- Mix sugar and cinnamon, mix them well. (Aduk rata gula dan kayu manis)
- Spread the margarine on top of your danish pastry sheet, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture (oleskan margarin ke lembaran danish pastry, taburi dengan kayu manis dan gula)
- Roll them, divide into 6, put them in a cupcake mold or cupcake paper, let still for 120 minutes (gulung, lalu potong jd 6 bagian, taruh di cetakan cupcake atau kertas cupcake, diamkan 120 menit)
- Mix egg yolk and milk, this will give a good shinny end result on any bread that you bake. (Aduk rata kuning telur dan susu, campuran ini akan memberikan hasil yang mengkilap di hasil akhir semu roti yang kita panggang)
- Brush them with egg and milk mixture, bake 20 minute until brown. (Olesi dengan campuran telur dan susu, panggang selama 20 menit hingga kecoklatan)
